Manchester Tram Times privacy
Manchester Tram Times lets you check real-time Manchester Metrolink tram departures across all 99 stations, view disruptions, and check how busy your next tram is expected to be.
Personal information and sign-in
Manchester Tram Times has no account or sign-in feature. The app does not ask you for a name, email address, phone number, precise location, or other personal information, and it does not create user profiles or keep a visitor search history. It requests current tram service data so it can display departures, disruptions, and crowding information; it does not request your device location.
The app may save non-personal interface preferences in your browser. These are not linked to an account or sent as personal details. You can remove them by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Service providers and recipients
The published app is hosted through OpenAI's ChatGPT Sites service and delivered with Cloudflare. Those providers may process technical connection data such as your IP address, browser or device information, request details, and security data to host, deliver, and protect the site. Cloudflare may set its __cf_bm security cookie; Cloudflare says it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. See OpenAI's ChatGPT Sites terms, OpenAI's ChatGPT Sites data processing addendum, Cloudflare's privacy policy, and Cloudflare's cookie information.
To provide live tram information, the app's service requests operational data from Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM). These requests are made by the service, and the app does not send visitor names, contact details, or device-location data to TfGM. The app does not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Retention and your controls
Manchester Tram Times does not retain personal information or maintain a visitor history. Interface preferences remain in your browser until you clear the site's data. The Cloudflare security cookie expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. OpenAI and Cloudflare set their own retention periods for technical connection and security records under their policies and applicable legal requirements; Manchester Tram Times does not set those provider retention periods.
You can use the app without signing in, avoid providing personal information, and clear browser site data to remove local preferences and cookies. If you email for support, your email address and message are used to respond to you and handled by the email providers involved; you can ask for the support correspondence to be deleted using the contact details at the bottom of this page. It is kept only as long as needed to handle the request and any necessary follow-up or legal recordkeeping.
